WebAug 2024. This visitor center has a really cool (short) boardwalk and stair trail down to a view of New River Gorge and Bridge. Furthermore, the ranger was extremely helpful and gave me detailed instructions for kid-friendly hikes in the area as well as how to get down to the river. One thing to note is that the museum area is closed due to covid.
