I would: 1) Keep the tone stage 2) Restore the phono stage 3) go ahead and install the relay selector. The input selector and the other switches needed a cleaning.

It sounded pretty good with the AudioSource amp and I liked the extra inputs and headphone jack. When I switched to my Fisher 440-A console amp (EL84 PP) my wife commented that the bass sounded muddy. Finally, the balance control is out of control. Nevertheles, it just let's the music passes thru.
