Here's something to check ... at the right side of the fork neck there are two throttle cables , the idle cable has a switch in it with two wires plugged to it . Make sure the switch is free and you can see it move when you roll the throttle closed . Wiggle the thing to give it some slack . CPY84 check and make sure that your brake light is not staying on. If it is that means the cruise control won't work.
