WebJan 1, 2013 · They started after my craniotomy operation to clip the Aneursyms in the brain 18mths ago. They stayed with me for 6 mths coming and going. It was like a cold sensation passing over the brain inside the skull in waves. Didn't hurt as such but a bit unsettling. My consultant said some people describe it as running water over the brain.
