I ordered a new MB/Proc/Ram this afternoon and want to reformat/reinstall everything from scratch. Everywhere I have read states that just a quick format of the SSD gives worse performance than out of the box. Web18. mar 2011 · XP will be fine on the SSD. From there it is a normal installation. After XP is installed you can do a normal Windows 7 upgrade using a custom install (upgrade will be greyed out). You can activate XP if you want. I think you should.
